The Spring Fling was a fabulous night that gave John Cabot students an excuse to dress particularly classy and spend the evening on a rooftop terrace. The fling was on Saturday April 5th at Boscolo Exedra, a beautiful hotel in Rome. The event was equipped with a photographer, DJ, open bar, and a delicious spread of food. There were 175 JCU students that came sauntering through the lobby of the hotel in their new threads posing for photos.
I originally felt like the idea of a Spring Fling was a little too high school for my taste. After being persuaded by friends to get involved, I broke down and bought a ticket. I do not know who I was kidding; I ate the entire experience up. I loved the excuse to get dressed up and spend the evening on a rooftop overlooking the eternal city.
Events like the Spring Fling make me thankful for JCU and the unique experience it continues to offer through events like the Spring Fling.
