The fling was on Saturday April 5th at Boscolo Exedra, a beautiful hotel in Rome. The event was equipped with a photographer, DJ, open bar, and a delicious spread of food. There were 175 JCU students that came sauntering through the lobby of the hotel in their new threads posing for photos. After being persuaded by friends to get involved, I broke down and bought a ticket. I do not know who I was kidding; I ate the entire experience up. I loved the excuse to get dressed up and spend the evening on a rooftop overlooking the eternal city. Events like the Spring Fling make me thankful for JCU and the unique experience it continues to offer through events like the Spring Fling.
