How Do I Apply?

You can apply to study abroad at John Cabot in four easy steps:

  1. Complete an application form
  2. Pay the $50/€50 application fee (only US and Canadian citizens may pay in US dollars)
  3. Submit an official transcript from your current university (transcripts not in English or Italian must be accompanied by a certified English language translation)
  4. Show evidence of English language proficiency (only for students who have studied in an English-language institution for fewer than two years)

Check With Your Home University

Be sure to check with your home university's study abroad office before applying. You should ensure that you are following their procedures before beginning any of the paperwork. If you would like to satisfy graduation requirements by transferring credits earned at JCU, please consult with your academic adviser to choose your courses prior to departure.

You can study abroad in Fall, Spring, Summer I, or Summer II. It's also possible to study abroad for two consecutive semesters or summer sessions. Make sure you check out our application deadlines for each semester.  After submitting your application, you will receive an email from your admissions counselor with an admissions decision.
