[**Clubs and Societies**](http://www.johncabot.edu/student-services/clubs/default.aspx) Joining a club is not only an excellent way to meet people who share the same interests as you, but it also gives you a chance to put your passion and creativity to work on something other than school work. John Cabot University offers a wide array of clubs and organizations, all with their own unique charm. Love to write? Published online and in print, it gives the student body a voice and a platform for expression. Or maybe you’d like to step into the ring in the fight for equality? The [LGBT-Straight Alliance club](http://www.johncabot.edu/student-services/clubs/queer-alliance.aspx) helps to foster an understanding and supportive environment for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered students at John Cabot University. The alliance is open to all students, regardless of sexual identification and serves as a way to promote acceptance and understanding.
