Unlike in North America, Europe is so compact that trains and flights can take you almost anywhere on the continent in just a few hours! Study Abroad Students Can Attend the Original Oktoberfest in Germany When you study in Italy, Germany is just a two hour flight away! Berlin, Germany’s capital, is home to thriving art and nightlife scenes, as well as iconic monuments, like the Brandenburg Gate and famous historical sites related to WWII. International students in Italy can also take the train from Rome to Munich to experience Oktoberfest. This is an especially fun adventure to go on alongside the friends you’ll meet during your study abroad adventure in Rome.   ## 2.
