At the heart of this connection lies the recognition that addressing climate change, resource depletion, and biodiversity loss requires incremental adjustments, radical rethinking, and creativity. By definition, innovation is the perfect solution to this need for dramatic change. It pushes boundaries, challenges the status quo, and fosters the development of sustainable technologies, business models, and practices that reduce environmental impact while promoting economic and social well-being. Knowing that sustainability and innovation work as a couplet, we strive to combine them in the many active learning activities that we facilitate.
