My name is Camilla Carlesi and I am 20 years old. I am majoring in International Affairs and minoring in Communications at John Cabot University. Currently, I am spending a semester abroad at the American University of Paris. I am taking full advantage of this experience by participating as much as I can in the student life of this university. Hence, I am part of the dance team, Student Government Association, and campus UNICEF club. In particular, I really enjoy being in campus UNICEF because I have the possibility of tutoring kids, expanding my volunteering experience, and practicing a new language.

Paris is an extremely fascinating city to live in, full of stunning museums and impressive architecture. If I have the possibility of living and learning here it is thanks to my supportive family, and to John Cabot University, for choosing me to participate in the direct exchange program. One of the main reasons I have decided to attend John Cabot is because of the extraordinary study abroad experiences it offers. JCU has a vast range of partner universities, including the American University of Paris, and applying to spend a semester at one of them is very easy!

I hope that once I am back from this journey I will be able to recommend this experience to all of my peers and share with them the highlights of it. Moreover, I look forward to use the skills learnt during these months and the network of connections that I made in Paris in my future career.
